Receiving Shipments are required for all inventory, packaging, and printed collateral sent to Atomix. Please note: Atomix can not track or be held responsible for inventory sent without a receiving shipment. Follow the steps below to create your shipment!

Why are receiving shipments so important?
Receiving shipments document when inventory hits our floor, and the quantities we have on hand. We require shipments to be created so that we can track and manage your product. Receiving shipments are not optional.
I don't know what my manufacturer is sending, do I still have to create this shipment?
Unsure of what will be arriving in your shipment? That's just fine. Atomix requires a receiving shipment to be created in our platform, but we understand sometimes information is not accessible. Do your best to get the information as accurate as possible. If the exact quantity per SKU or pallet is unknown, reach out to the Atomix team via the app and give us a head's up.
I already made my SKUs in Shopify. Can I create my receiving shipment?
Before a receiving shipment can be created, all inventory items in the shipment must be created in the Atomix app. It is not possible to add a SKU to a receiving shipment, if that SKU does not exist in the Atomix app.
2. Required Fields Explained
In the table below, you can learn more about each of the required fields needed to create a receiving shipment.
Required Field | Explanation and Tips |
Expected Date | This field tells the Atomix team when your inventory will arrive.
Don't know the exact date of arrival? That's okay, just provide your best estimate, and keep your team updated on the progress of your shipment. |
Shipping Carrier | This field will let the Atomix receiving team know how your shipment will be traveling, and who will be dropping it off.
Some examples of carriers: EchoShip, FedEx, UPS, Estes, USPS |
PO Number | The Purchase Order number of your shipment helps us link your shipment to the specific receiving. This is especially important if you have lot numbers and expiration dates for your product.
If you do not have a PO number from your manufacturer, you may use your tracking number for the shipment. THIS FIELD CANNOT BE LEFT BLANK. It is used to identify the inbound shipment.

Type of Inbound | Are you sending your inventory in boxes, or on pallets?
If you're sending in boxes, the inbound type is "Boxes"
If you're sending pallets, the inbound type is "Pallet" |
Inbound Type Quantity | If you're sending pallets, include the number of pallets in this field, NOT the number of boxes on each pallet.
If you're sending boxes, but no pallets, include the number of boxes. |

Why won't my CSV upload work?
If you've tried to upload your shipment via CSV and were unsuccessful, please try the following steps!
Confirm that your file matches the formatting of the downloadable file from Atomix.
Double check that all of your SKUs have been created in Inventory
Double check that there are NO merged cells, NO headers, NO titles, and NO extra fields.
