B2B Orders

Guidelines on how to identify, create, and manage B2B orders within the Atomix application.

Atomix maintains a dedicated team specifically for handling B2B orders. Their sole focus is to ensure that orders sent directly to businesses or those with special requirements maintain the highest quality and arrive on time.

What counts as a B2B Order?

B2B orders include any shipment sent directly to a business, orders with larger than normal product quantities, or any order requiring specialized packing and handling.

  • DTC Quantity Limits: Each brand has a maximum quantity defined for DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) orders. Once an order surpasses this quantity, it is automatically classified as a B2B order.

How to Submit a B2B Order

B2B orders must be created manually in the Atomix app following these steps:

  1. Navigate to Orders: Click on the Orders tab.

  2. Create Order: Click on Create Order.

  3. Order Details: The system generates an order number automatically unless entered manually. Ensure you select B2B. Choose your requested shipping service.

    • Note: Add any special packaging requirements or extra steps in the Notes section.

  4. Customer Details: Enter the Customer Name and full Address details.

  5. Inventory: Search for and add the required SKU and Quantity.

  6. Finalize: Review all order details and click Create Order.

Important: Edits can only be made while the order is in Received, On Hold, or Needs Review. Once an order reaches the Processing stage, no further edits can be made.

Fulfillment Timelines (SLA)

  • Standard Processing: B2B orders can take up to 5 business days to ship.

  • Large Volume: If an order's volume requires more than 5 business days, the Customer Experience (CX) team will notify you.

  • Exclusions: The 5-day SLA excludes Mondays and Holidays.

Channel Management: B2B vs. DTC

It is critical to place B2B orders in the correct section to ensure special requirements are followed.

  • Incorrect Placement: Orders placed in the DTC portal follow the standard warehouse workflow.

  • Correction Process: If a B2B order was mistakenly placed as DTC, attempt to cancel it immediately and recreate it in the B2B portal.

  • Support: If you cannot cancel the order, message the Atomix team via the Intercom portal with the order number. Please note that if the order is already in "Processing," it may not be possible to reroute it in time.
