How does Atomix Verify Addresses?

Atomix's rigorous Address Verification systems will check all components of an address and validate them. This feature helps us to deliver your product from point A to point B, as accurately and efficiently as possible!

If any section of the address fails to meet the necessary requirements, the order will be automatically placed in the "Needs Review" category and a warning tooltip will be displayed. This tool ensures that all addresses in your database are accurate and complete.

This feature was also developed to give more autonomy and power to your brand, giving you the opportunity to contact your customer to provide a correct address.

Please see the examples below of addresses that have failed to verify, and the warnings and checks in place to alert you to the missing or incorrect data. The address will save and update instantly to let you know if the problem has resolved.

In the example below, you can see the the flag near the criteria that the system has failed.

You can edit this information, and see that the street number is missing, and this is why the verification has failed.

Once the information has updated, you are able to see that the address is verified and has gone to processing. If you have any questions regarding address verification, please ask your account manager in Slack for more information!

An Important Note on Manually Verifying Addresses:

It is possible to override the address verification manually, however this is not recommended.

The "Manually Verify Address" function exists only in cases where you are certain that your customer's package will be delivered correctly to the address. We strongly advise reviewing the flagged issue with the address (indicated by the small exclamation by the problematic field) and reaching out to your customer to confirm the address and provide missing information.

While it may be tempting, bypassing these checks can lead to costly delivery problems, return to senders ($30 charge per RTS as noted in your contract and in our Returns Guidelines), and expensive address correction charges billed by the carriers.
