Monthly and Weekly Invoices from Atomix: What to Expect?

As a new Atomix Client, you can expect to receive two types of invoices - a monthly invoice and weekly invoices.

Your Monthly Invoice

Your monthly invoice from Atomix will detail the following charges:

  • Storage Cost: The fee for storing your products in our warehouses.

  • Receiving Cost: Any charges associated with receiving new inventory.

  • Special Project Cost: Fees for any custom projects or services we've provided.

  • Software and Platform Fee: Fees for using the Atomix App

  • Slack Fee (if Applicable): Cost for using Slack for communication

  • Return Processing Fee (if Applicable): Cost for processing your Returns.

Your Weekly Invoices

In addition to the monthly invoice, you'll also receive a weekly invoice every Friday. This invoice will cover:

  • Shipping Costs: The fees for sending out your customer orders.

  • Pick and Pack Costs: The labor costs for picking, packing, and preparing your orders for shipment.

Understanding Your Invoice Details

Your invoices will include the following line items to provide full transparency:

  • Order Number: The unique identifier for each customer order.

  • Ship From Warehouse: The Atomix facility that fulfilled the order.

  • Shipping Method: The carrier and service level used.

  • Tracking #: The shipment's tracking number.

  • Postal Code and Country: The destination for the shipment.

  • Shipped Date: When the order was dispatched.

  • Total Order Units: The quantity of items shipped.

  • Package Type: Box or Mailer size used

  • Zone: The geographical areas that carriers ship to, spanning from Zone 1 to Zone 8 for domestic shipments in the United States

  • Billable Weight: The weight that a shipping company uses to calculate the cost to ship a package. Click here to learn more.

  • Base Rate: Your Shipping Cost before the surcharges being added

  • Fuel Surcharge: An additional fee that transportation companies charge to account for the changing cost of fuel

  • Residential Surcharge: An added fee charged by carriers when delivering to homes, apartments, or businesses without a public entrance

  • Delivery Area Surcharge: An additional fee imposed by shipping carriers for delivering packages to specific locations that are deemed remote or difficult to access

  • First Pick + Additional Pick: Cost of picking your first order item ($2.50) and each additional pick will be ($0.50) each.

  • Packaging: The cost of Packaging (note: Even if you have provided your own custom packaging there will be a cost involved)

  • Kitting or Insert: Cost for Kitting an order or adding an insert

  • Pick and Pack: Labor-based fees for picking and packing an order

  • Shipping: Your total shipping cost after the surcharges have been added

  • Peak Surcharge: Seasonal or temporary shipping charges

  • Total: The full amount due for that one order which includes the Shipping Cost and Pick & Pack fee.
